REGIONAL CONFERENCE OF YOUTH WORKERS UNITED
In the framework of project Youth Workers United YCC-Bitola in partnership with other co-applicants (SEEYN, NAPOR and Kreaktiv) will organize the Regional Conference from 19th to 22nd of September 2016 in Ohrid, Macedonia.
There will be at least 30 representatives from political life, institutions and CSOs as well youth representatives present at the conference. Beside them there will be all associated partners and guest speakers from abroad invited, mostly from SEE region and EU, that have expertise and experience in the field. SEEYN Secretariat will provide necessary support in preparation and implementation of the Conference within our expertise in youth work, and select the suitable expert from SEEYN Pool of Trainers to co-facilitate the event.
This conference will be organize in order to encourage debate on the subject – youth work policy, therefore it is important to bring together decision-makers, policy influencers, youth work providers, expert community as well young people with purpose of resources exchange among key stakeholders.
Conference will be organized in purpose of:
1) sharing inspiring practice on youth work policy at national, regional, EU and wider international level;
2) to advocate and lobby for effective youth work policy in Macedonia that will ensure civil society consensus about the issue;
3) to put youth work policy on political Agenda in Macedonia;
4) to target powerful influencers with strong personal and/or professional interest among participants who will support future actions in the field;
5) to facilitate regional and international cooperation and partnership among youth CSOs.
